Are you a parent of a child who is going into Kindergarten? If so, we want to meet with you to talk about the ways we can partner with you during your child’s formative years. There are two times to choose from:

– July 31st 5:30 pm
– August 1st 10:20 am

Children will attend our children’s ministry during the meeting.

All families with kids birth to 5th grade are invited to show off your “Amazing” family skills on Sunday, July 25, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at Faith Promise Church.

Food. Fun. Family. Prizes. Free. Yancy. Parents. Preschoolers. School Kids. Together.

This event will be catered by Buddy’s BBQ. (BBQ, coleslaw, baked beans, chips & lemonade/tea. Boca burgers upon request for our vegetarian friends!) Dinner at 5:30, The race begins at 6:00 pm. Concert at 7:00 pm.

Childcare for infants upon request. Please register online by July 23rd.

This is the time of year when many families start gathering school supplies – backpacks, paper, glue, pencils and more.  For many in the Mechanicsville/Western Heights area of Knoxville, buying pencils and paper is a luxury that their children have to do without.  Eighty percent of residents of the Western Heights housing projects are single mothers with little to no income.

The good news is Faith Promise is partnering with an awesome ministry, Water Angels, to help out these families.  On Saturday and Sunday, August 7/8, Faith Promise will collect school supplies at a table outside the main entrance to the Worship Center. Please bring new backpacks, glue sticks, crayons and pencils.

If you’d like to be a part of the give-a-way party, it will take place on Saturday, August 14th, at Water Angels.
